What a amazing day yesterday was! Randy “Outlaw” Hicks is know for getting close and deploying his probes into tornadoes. Tuesday he ask me to join him to help him deploy which means he gets right in front of it, drops the probe and film it from a little bit back.

Friday we headed to western Nebraska to hunt down tornadoes. HRRR had a supercell starting near Goodland, KS and tacking NE towards McCook, NE. At 5:18 pm a tornado warning was issued, at 5:47 pm a wall cloud is spotted. At 5:55 pm a funnel with dust swirling on the ground is to our southwest. By 6 pm we saw the tornado, we got into position to put the probe down.
